For the preparation of Nanikore Exhibition, 9 of us arrived in Fukuoka few days before the opening for the set up. We had our meeting on the floor before transforming the space into our exhibition. Our luggages were pretty much full with artworks, monitors, equipments, as well as our hopes and dreams 😆 It was our first time in Fukuoka. This time we rented Roro Art Space from our friend Ferdi. From the previous 2024 exhibition at Chignitta gallery in Osaka, we have 3 of ArtGumi's 42-inch monitors stored here for future use within Japan. Since Ferdi has his art space, we are happy that he could use them while we are not on exhibit. Roro Art Space is on the 5th floor of the 60 years old building which is gradually transformed from apartment into art hub. Having the tatami floor gives a warm and friendly feeling. Since ArtGumi is built around friendship, the space concept suits this exhibition very well. There is no elevator here. So we have been carrying our stuff up to the 5th floor and get super muscular at the end of the show 💪✨ Also a very good reason to eat all the good food around the area ✨
